Mother’s Day

Not many words needed, we had sunshine, beach, two mothers, one daughter, one son, and one dad. Perfect!

Thanks to son for taking the photo of his daughter and her grandparents πŸ™‚ This is my 800th post on WordPress! Thanks also to the wonderful community that makes blogging so enjoyable, I love and appreciate you all, I miss you when you disappear, I thrill when you reappear, you are part of my world, even if you don’t hear from me very often. I am about to go traveling for 6 weeks, so please be patient, I will use Blogsy to send posts from the iPad, but I am notoriously poor atΒ being able to log in and comment on your posts, even if I can see them. Perhaps this trip I will get the hang of it, fingers crossed.

  1. Just take it easy, Christine: you don’t owe any of us anything, and none of us wants to put pressure on you. Have a wonderful 6-week break, and if the iPad don’t come up to scratch, just remember that *I* said “I’m not surprised !”. [grin]
    Lovely photo – just lovely.

  2. What a lovely photo. I love it when I ‘mistress’ technology, so I will be glad for you if you, too, tame your iPad, but, if it doesn’t work out that way, I will look forward to your return with lots of new stories and images for us.

  3. Lovely post. Amid such a gathering you’d be well placed to answer the question I wrestle with this morning between mouthfuls of porridge: What is our purpose in life?

  4. Hoping I might have just caught you to say ‘happy travels’, Christine πŸ™‚ While you’re gone I’ll probably get chance to look at some more of your far east adventures. Take care!

  5. Lovely photo – and Happy Mother’s Day, Christine. I’ve just bought an iPad for travelling, too – and was disappointed with it’s performance for blogging. Don’t have the slightest problem with my MacBook!

You are going to have a great trip – and even better for me is that I get to meet you during it! πŸ™‚

See you soon, my friend xx

  6. Congrats on the 800 Christine and loved the happy Mothers Day photo. Enjoy your 6 weeks, we will still be here and waiting to share it all with you when you get back (maybe in person!).

  7. A precious moment to be cherished Christine! Impressed by the 800…..I have barely managed some 323 in more than two years! Many congratulations! You enjoy every minute of your vacation πŸ™‚
