it is a worry, but when we flush the frogs dive down below, then come up again later … they are not usually in the house … a sign of the extreme dry weather … but they are often in the yoga barn toilet 🙂
I can say ‘oh so cute’ because he is only a little… it’s the thought of big green frogs, which don’t bother me anywhere else, slipping into the bowl, which would make it a no-go zone, literally, for me. We had a middling size frog in the G.O.’s dunny at Christmas which I avoided. We keep the lids down which keeps the biggun’s out, although I have heard some tales 🙂
I would love to have the green tree frogs, but we have aways had these fellows, even when we were up in Arcadia in Sydney’s north, we do love them however and there is no known instance of frog meeting buttock in the bathroom!
I would like to have green tree frogs as well… ours are the big old common [noisy] garden variety that were the bane of outside dunnies when I was a kid 🙂
oh wow, that was an unexpected moment for me! how wonderful it is when frogs survive and thrive, but to be honest, i would have to say i am happy it is in your home and not mine. 🙂
When I was growing up in Brisbane many years ago, we used to have a large green tree frog that lived in the letterbox.
Hopefully you’ll get some rain soon so this little fellow can upgrade his accommodation.
What is that
a tree frog finding water inside the house 🙂
Hi inside the toilet B-)
Cute and weird all at the same time!
fortunately we love them 🙂
Yep, speechless! But reminds me of a piece of family lore relating to the appearance of a mongoose in the toilet bowl.
oh, do tell???
ha ha ha ma guarda che curiosa!
we love to see them but they do surprise the guests!
Very cute, but I am not sure I like surprises lurking in my toilet bowl 🙂

A friend on a coffee plantation found a snake inside her toilet once!! 🙂
oh my goodness, not funny! perhaps it was looking for the frogs?
Very interesting. Are they coming inside because it is dry or because the weather is changing to a storm or something?
it is very dry outside scrapydo, two summer months without rain, so the frogs are looking for alternative water sources 🙂
I see! Very interesting -to find the toilet with some water

Don’t let the cute, little thing croak! 😉
ha ha, we try to look after them Thomas! We had rain today, first for a long time, so they will all be croaking tonight 🙂
what a lovely surprise!
lucky we are used to them, but our guests are not!
Oh, no… Frighteningly where he should not be. 🙂
we have had some rain, just a little, so he might be outside again … I have no idea how the frogs get inside 🙂
My that little fellow really needs to revisit its planning strategy for survival. 🙂
meanwhile with high temperatures and no rain it is not such a bad place, especially as they just dive down when you flush … then pop up later 🙂
Cute little frog, but in a toilet? 🙂
survival strategy Amy, and pond in a drought!
awwww…so cute
once a yoga student screamed when she met one in the loo!
Dunb arse.
😉
I so adore this shot. Marvelous fun!
thanks Cee, I hoped people would like it 🙂
I was going to say I hope you rescued it, but clearly it’s rescued itself – very cute, I like frogs!
spot on Gilly! who knows where it went next, they seem to get in and out of the house quite mysteriously …
Look at those beautiful, big black eyes! I suppose he sings only at night? Must be great acoustics from inside the bowl.
frogs in the bathroom make a marvellous loud sound, very attractive in the mating game!
How cute! Hopefully he made it back outside.
don’t worry, they seem to come and go although I have no idea how!
Funny. I remember green frogs in the shower when I was in Queensland 🙂
Glad to stimulate your recollection … frogs are smart 🙂
Woah – I certainly had to do a double-take on that photo!!
glad to give you a surprise Marianne 😀
Well I never. A frog in a bog…
not uncommon here in the drought, but never when they have other choices 🙂

glad to surprise you, we always smile broadly when we find a frog in the loo, but have to remember to warn guests!

we have just about 4ml, I have not seen the frog for a day or two so her may have moved out again 🙂 Aren’t they gorgeous creatures?
Very cute critter, but I wouldn’t like it to catch me unawares. 😯
I just love his expression: “Yeah? What are YOU looking at?”
