Weekly Photo Challenge: Carefree

What could be more carefree than children at play?

Here our grandchildren are scrambling around on the big granite boulders at Grey Rocks. Bright yellow and orange lichens actually colour the rocks, contrasting beautifully with the ocean.  There is so much to do there … finding little spaces to squeeze through, the highest point to claim, the most fun rock-hopping route, rock pools to investigate and just the wonderful sea flowing in and out like a watery breath!

  1. They’re perfect, of course, but I daresay if someone should take a photo of you and S doing the same thing it would be the same – images of two humans, totally absorbed in nature’s manifold miracles, carefree and innocent. Those rocks must be like a magnet to you all!

Hope you’ve had no more episodes, Christine – I’ve been away, and on my way, away, in half an hour. Take care 🙂

    • happy travels, we look forward to enjoying them with you through the blog 🙂 all well here, tests all coming back fine of course … it was just a blip … these things happen!

  2. I agree – they become so engrossed in what they are doing – and so sweet when they talk to themselves while they are doing it – lovely pics, Christine. 🙂

let's chat about this ...
