    • boab is the australian name for baobab … very interesting ideas about how it arrived in the north … with the earliest settlers over 50,000 years ago … they were people walking out of africa around the coastline over thousands of years … but there are two waves of migration as it seems the earliest peoples died out and made way for the next wave … all subject to research at present … if one lot came by boat they could have carried boabs with them as every part is edible …

  1. Yesterday, we went out to my husband’s club and played golf in the afternoon, a time which we usually don’t because of the heat, but it was the most exquisite day weatherwise – the warmth was just perfect and it was unbelievably clear – we could even see demarcations in the sky, which my husband said indicated the ionosphere. On the way home, we were treated to a most breathtaking sunset sky – bright blue and yellow over the west towards the Blue Mountains, and pink and blue towards the east. The ever-changing sky is a free show, wherever we are ๐Ÿ™‚
