Heat, smokehaze, ash

These photos were taken last week during the heatwave and bushfires. After record high temperatures and strong winds leaves fell from trees, adding to potential fuel on the ground. The skies were grey with smoke, and a black lace edge of bushfire debris decorated the beaches. We have cooler weather now and most fires have been brought under control.
