Island Cloud Lessons

Dark clouds rolling over the island, occasional showers, winds from all directions, island life is never dull!

Light changes all day …

sunshine comes and goes, every moment is new. On an island you learn afresh to grab the moment as it is …

if swimming is not right on this side, or at this hour ….

it soon will be!!!

    • yes, a pity mankind ever came to this little island … but now they look after it so beautifully and are attempting to care for the other creatures who live on and visit these shores πŸ™‚

  1. Images that touches the heart and stir the mind to appreciate the beauty of nature and moments. Like is like this, “sunshine comes and goes, every moment is new. On an island you learn afresh to grab the moment as it is …” Today we grab a piece of love, joy and hope for all. Happy Holidays.

    • thank you dear robin …. glad you can share some of the delight we experienced on the island …. we have been invited back next year … so that is exciting πŸ˜€

  2. I’ve fallen in love with Lord Howe Island through the images you’ve been sharing. I think we instrinsicly look to the sky, and clouds as our barometer on the world – there is all kinds of beauty in these you’ve captured πŸ™‚

    • thank you! you must see a great deal of beauty as you sail around the world … but i guess you also see plastic on the ocean … it is killing the seabirds even on remote Lord Howe Island 😦

    • well if you ever come this way again and want a very quiet week or two on a small island, that is worth a thought …. i love how you can just cycle across to the other side if the wind is in your face … and then it is at your back πŸ™‚

let's chat about this ...
