Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: One Single Flower

This Dahlia was photographed in late afternoon light on Garinish Island, in Ireland about a month ago. We were visiting the island to see the wonderful garden established there about one hundred years ago.

Japanese anenome (thanks to laura, see comments), also on Garinish Island.

An orchid from Singapore … I had such fun photographing flowers on my recent overseas trip, hope you enjoy then too. Thank you to Cee for her challenge to share photos of a single flower, and all her wonderful tips on how to improve our results!

  1. Japanese anemones are lovely late summer perennials that come in single and double varieties, white and several shades of pink, my favourite are single whites! But I love your orchid best of all, so exotic.

let's chat about this ...
