Evening in Place St Silain

In one direction colour and icecream ….

in the other restful shades, people reading,

meeting friends,

sharing, and chatting.

All so very civilised and pleasant!

  1. Is that an overused mobile phone with all that smoke coming out of it? Nope – it’s drifting smoke from a ciggy. Not sure I view smoking as civilised or chic … but that’s me πŸ˜‰ Very nice set of people shots πŸ™‚

    • I agree with you 100% about smoking, but it is still endemic in country France, hard to avoid sadly …. no it was the scene that was civilised, everyone relaxed and chatting in the open air πŸ™‚

      • I love the quiet ‘country’ France where the games of petanque go on into the small hours of the next morning and the locals in the local sports bar ply me with scotch because my father was a Scotsman;-) – Memories from Villefranche de Lauragais in the Limoux area πŸ™‚

  2. This is how I remember Paris; fascinated with the outdoor cafe’ and people watching; whether dressed “up” or “down”, Parisians all seemed fashionable to me; and like each one could be the start of a fiction story. I loved the feeling of being in the midst.

let's chat about this ...
