Lagoon and Reeds

A strong breeze was blowing across the beach ruffling the water of the lagoon and shaking the reeds. The late afternoon sun was obscured by thick cloud. I crouched down with the camera and watched.

The spiky juncus looked stiff in front of the wind-rippled water and grew my attention to the marvelous patterns created by a couple of old tree trunks out in the centre.

Hmmm, beauty all around us, what a beautiful world!
