Europe at Night from Space

We live on a small planet, a little blue sphere in a solar system on the edge of the galaxy. This is our home, the home of all life on Earth. This wonderful photo was taken by NASA astronaut Douglas Wheelock who has just come home after a 62 million mile journey aboard the International Space Station. I have just been seeing a craniosacral client, who described the sensation in her head as “not streams, but a fine net of lights” … rather like this view of Europe at night. 

Northern lights in the distance in one of the finest nights over Europe. The photo clearly shows the Strait of Dover. Paris is dazzling with the city lights. A little fog over the western part of England, particularly over London.
