Great pics, Christine! We’re definitely not in Kansas!
They look massive. I wonder how much they weigh, approximately?
not massive, but the males are big …. an adult male will commonly weigh around 50 to 66 kg (110 to 150 lb) whereas females commonly weigh around 17 to 40 kg (37 to 88 lb)
I am so used to them being here almost every day that I forget others do not see them!
I should say top picture is a male, and females at the bottom
Glad they’re safe.
yes, and so wise to rest in the sun after the storm
quando li vedo penso alle grandi pedate che da loro si possono ricevere ha ha
visti nelle tue belle foto sembrano angioletti
When I see them I think of the great kicks that you can receive from them ha ha
seen in your beautiful photos seem to Angels
I have seen them fighting dogs … they grip the dog and try to rip it with their hind legs … see here they are practising their fighting http://dadirridreaming.wordpress.com/2012/03/14/a-z-archive-k-is-for-kicking-kangaroos/
I had to smile! So often I feel like we live in similar climates and I can often find parallels in our natural settings…until we get to the animals! LOL! This isn’t a scene I’d ever find at home! Aren’t they just the oddest, yet most spectacular of creatures.
it does me good to look through your eyes Debra … of course they are very odd, yet the most natural graceful cute things to see outside my window!
Glad to see the relaxing photo
teaching us a lesson!
I do miss those guys.
they will be here when you come back to visit Jo!
They definitely look like they are just chilling and taking it easy. Lovely photos!
they sure were … just soaking up the sunshine thanks for your comment Janaline
